Obstetricians/Gynecologists are physicians who provide for the medical
and surgical care of the female reproductive system and associated disorders. They also
deal with the care and treatment during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and care of the mother
and child immediately after delivery. They also serve as consultants to other physicians
and as primary physicians for women.
